Early 2004 a few IRL friends - with romanian background - sat together, thinking about establishing a small online community. WoW reached these days  european borders, so they took the chance and found the guild Nightfall Stormlords on 21st April 2005 on the server Darksorrow. After turbulent first months on this new server, the guild demanded a restructuring to find it's final place. This second birth and streamlined structure was shown by a streamlined new name: Stormlords arrived on 29th August 2005 in Azeroth.

Since that day Stormlords was confronted with many ups and downs, the guild was and is working on keeping up its good reputation for being a fair and social raiding guild. This work continued through The Burning Crusade and we currently still up kicking ass in WotLK. Long time members show, that the train is still moving and on the right way to even continue in future.

But beside WoW, Stormlords is a small community of - above everything - good friends. We stay for the idea of quality and professional gaming -  as much as our busy lives allow it - most of us are adults, some have kids and many have non-gaming wives or girls. We are here because we like WoW as team game, because we like to have a good laugh in guild chat and/or ventrilo and obviously, because we are looking for all the challenges WoW provides. We found each other, we enjoyed each others company and we decided to assemble and keep this project working.
